SC - olives in period spanish recipes?

It's been a very long time since I've been there, but remember a wonderful wool outlet
shop in St. Andrews...not to mention that St. Andrews is a lovely town.  I got some
wonderful buys there, including fabric for a cloak that I'm still using...for over 15
years!  It was so tightly woven, almost to the point of being felted, that I didn't need
to put a warm lining in it...and it's water-resistant!  I think I paid about $4.50/yard
for it!
