Okay,

First off. I just requested either a translation in English if you
know the language or a request for a translation if you don't.
I honestly didn't consider that to be too much a violation of
research ethics or stepping on anyone's toes. In the case where
the poster could read the language but didn't have time to post
a translation, would anything have suffered if it had been posted
later? I also said that if the list wanted information that most
people can't understand to be posted then I would allow it.
It seems that most people do. If you wish to post a recipe or
documentation that is untranslated then you are free to do so.
It will promptly go into my delete bin but others would like
it.  Sometimes I do put my foot down for what I consider
breaches of etiquitte but this is not a totalitarian list.
I asked for what I considered a common courtesy and didn't
realize that others didn't mind not being able to read the post.

So, the end result is that if anyone wishes to post something
untranslated then you may go ahead and do it.
