This was a good year for all of us.  The best gift anyone got was my S.O's
cousin - she adopted a little girl born 11/27/00.  After a wait of 5 years,
she was actually there to cut the umbilical cord and take possession of her
new baby.

For myself, well....I didn't fare too poorly either!
kitchen wise:
Complete attachment kit for my professional kitchenaid (I'm only missing the
noodle roller and some pasta plates)

personal stuff:
dvd player - I get to go pick it out!!
1 hour massage certificate
Williams-Sonoma Winter cookbook (lovely recipe there for carrot & parsnip
soup)
and the big gift:
a littermaid!
