Well, I'm open to suggestions that would make the Florilegium easier to
use.
The contents are not searchable at this time. This capability used to be
there when the Florilegium was at pbm.com. Or at least it was until something
changed at the external search engine that was used. Since that no longer
worked I removed that link after the files were moved to florilegium.org.
My web host is working on an internal search system that should give better
results and be more optimized for SCA use than using an external search
engine. The database will also get updated immediately after I upload a new
file rather than when the external search engine decides periodically to
look
at the site. I hope we will have something in the near future. However,
right now my priorities are to get the last files (30 Mybtes) moved from
the old site to the new one, updating them in the process and fixing the
FTP bug which is currently keeping me from uploading new files easily to
the new site. I've got about 70 to 80 new or updated files to upload.
There have always been only three levels to the Florilegium. The top
page with links to the various sections and the sections with their
links to individual files and the individual files. Recently we moved
the top page links to the sections into a frame on the left side of the
page so it is always available.
I'm not sure what your last sentence is referring to. Even if your
browser is not capable of displaying frames, our software is supposed
to detect that and display the links to the sections on the top page
as was previously done. If this is not the case, please send me email
and we will see what we can do to correct this.
