SC - Distress in Trimaris

Myself being from the Outlands, I am unfamiliar with the crown of Trimaris,
and the type of period feasts that are served. I am certain they are much
like any other large feasts that I have attended.

IMOH --I don't think that this was meant as a personal slap in the face
from the Crown Princess. But perhaps there has been a growning trend of the
type of food that is NOT eaten that is served at feasts. Or many complaints
to the crown over
various situations.

<snip> removes of a more easily digested by the majority-of-the-populace
nature! <snip> twentieth-century palates (and sometimes tummies) are

period."

For this I say it is generally those that say they don't like a certain
type of food who have never even tried the method that it is being cooked
or served in. They may surprise themselves if they would just try it!!
Although I know this has been brought up on the list before.
Also it could be the fact of those who have food allergies, but if they
have a certain food allergy and they know it...I say there is no excuses,
as they could have contacted the head feastocrat ahead of time and asked
what the menu would be or if there could be a substitution available to
compensate for certain food reactions.

I think the biggest way to overcome this situation may be to contact the
Crown Prince & Princess directly and discuss what they would like to see
and what options are available to still make period feasts that would be to
their liking. And if all else fails, remember it is only for a short time,
one reign.
