Please note, I was not my intention to suggest that Penguins were to be 
considered a stable or normal portion of  any  western medieval European 
diet.  I was only stating that they had been seen and reportedly eaten 
within our period.   After all they have such 
small  wings.(heehhehe).  That being said, I must agree that I would not 
expect to see them at a feast and must agree that they are a new World food.

Be careful, I can see a new Household in  the SCA forming, and I would hate 
to be part of their feasts.
