Unlike RHPS, there seems to have been some justification for translating
it from its original medium into another one.

As a movie, it's violent, hard to watch and at times downright
unpleasant. It is also thought-provoking both in ways the novel was, and
in ways it wasn't. Like it or not, it is a milestone in the history of cinema.

Adamantius, who feels RHPS would have made a good stage musical. Oh,
wait, it did...
