This is clearly influenced by yuppie America and the Renfaire crown IMO. Who 
was the less than intelligent person who thought this up and why was such 
nonsense allowed to happen? Perhaps barring that person from any capacity 
where they could make such stupid decisions would be an alternative in the 
future.  Serving the HM's well outside the eyesight of those onboard would be 
the solution for this particular fiasco.

Perhaps it is time for the BOD to bring other aspects of the game under 
tighter reign as they did for costume given the proliferation of 
inappropriate decisions being made in other areas lately.
