	Ras: Hamsters are significantly smaller than dormice. They do fit on
a stick better though. 

Ras, it depends on the breed - my Syrian hamster Marzipan (now in that great
pet cemetery in the...er, cellar) was a fairly hefty 7 inches long and would
have made a decent entree. Not that I ever proposed eating her, please
understand! (Despite the name - that was because she was the color of
marzipan, nauseatingly sweet looking and like almonds, had a bite if handled
incorrectly!) 

	Stefan: I don't have an hamster recipes in this file, but perhaps

Gee Stefan, you should have offered that a bit earlier - I finally managed
to get rid of the last of my apartment's mice last month [cross fingers].
Waste not, want not!
