SC - date alcoholic beverages

I seem to remember seeing something recently on this list about a date wine
or beer that was fermented only a few days and so was an exception to the
moorish restrictions on alcohol.....Ras, was that from you?  I wonder if
there is any more info available on that which I could send back to the BVC
list??
