Y2K updates are available for all of Microsoft's products including Excel and
Office97 from Microsoft's website. Any Y2K glitches are merely the result of
not going to the site and downloading the freely available fixes. CNet even
has a page that will check you computer for any programs you have installed
on it and generate a report of all those programs indicating which ones are
Y2K compliant and which ones are not. It also provides clickable link that
will take you directly to the download site for the freely averrable upgrades.

Anyone who has not done this and has problems with their system should do so
immediately. There really is no excuse for whining and complaining about
noncompliant computers when these tools are freely averrable to all who have
web access.
