That's 'brewed' beverages, such as wine and beer not distilled products. Also
the 200 gallon limit is 200 gallons of beer plus 200 gallons of wine in PA.
Again I would remind everyone that this list is a WORLDWIDE list and many
people who are on the list live in countries that are far less repressive
than the USA. Their experiments are just as appropriate on this forum as
anyone else's and they should not have to hear the irrelevant 'it's illegal'
speeches every time they post something that is very much legal where they
live. In fact, it is a boon to have folks on the list that can experiment
with the whole gamut of period food experimentation without the legal
restrictions that US citizens are often bound by.
For those who may still feel a need to pronounce US law when particular
subjects come up, writing about activities such as distilling or any other
topic is well within the bounds of US law. Freedom of press, speech and
religion and the least tampered with 'inalienable rights' in the US.
