There is a yellow light on ginger because it has a tendency to prevent blood
from clotting if taken in large doses such as you get with herbal
supplements.  A piece of gingerbread wouldn't be strong enough for any
effect.



 That's why you get things like ginger and cinnamon on the caution list.
