A lot of the items most people would consider these days, 'weeds', can
be seen in various period salad recipes.

I don't remember any mention of dandelions being used this way, although
I may have just missed it. Any period referances to dandelion leaves
being eaten in Europe or even better dandelion wine would be appreciated.
I have messages talking about dandelions being used in period in salads
but no period quotes verifying this.
