<< Alvira,
Yum! This sounds good. I have some questions, though:
What kind of citrus butters, and do you have a source for these?>>
I have, somewhere around here, a handout from a RUSH class I took 8 years
ago I think that was about various breads and spreads. It was a feast class.
Frankly I do it from memory now. It's easy, just lemon, lime or orange peel
grated and a bit of the juice. Mush it and the butter in a bag. Lord knows
where the safe place I put it in is.

As for the sauce it is from the German translation cookbook on line, it is
to be used with the chicken "carrot" but I liked the sound of it with the
gourds too. As for what kind of gourds....what ever I can find at the
farmers market this fall. Ages ago I was treated to a mixed gourd, grilled
plate at a camping event. My only problem is that I can't find documentation
for the grilling. But I can for baking. I think I'm going to make a leap
and grill them anyway.
<<Apple what? Whole apples served at the end of the feast, or
 apple-something?>>
Whole apples. Sort of a tradition. I have a tendency to fill people too
full during feast and they can them take the apples with them for later
consumption.
<<When and where is this feast planned for? >>
The weekend before thanksgiving, Wyvern Cliffe, Calontir (Jefferson City, MO)
