Yes it is a good book and worth a reasonable price.
However, I think that it has been so long out-of-print
that it probably would be very expensive to buy. I
was lucky that I picked up my copy from a remainder
house for a mere $5. There used to be an SCA book
dealer from Albuquerque who seemed to be quite adept
at finding used cookbooks. I haven't gotten one of
her catalogues in a long time, so I don't know if she
is still in business, but if she is, I would ask her
to search for a copy.
As for libraries that have a copy and should loan it
out on ILL, I have found these libraries have a copy
of the book:
Contra Costa [Calif.]/Diablo Valley Community College.
Mills College [Calif.]
Santa Clara County Library [Calif.]
Univ. of Calif., Davis.
Folger Library, Washington DC
Florida State Univ.
Univ. of Iowa
Harvard Univ.
Univ. of Minnesota.
Dartmouth Univ.
Cornell Univ.
New York Public Library
Univ. of Rochester [NY]
Pennsylvania State Univ.
Temple Univ. [PA]
Univ. of Penn.
Univ. of Tennessee.
I hope that this is helpful to you.
Huette
