You have to put in a bid in order to get to head cook for a feast?
Around our area of Southern Atlantia we have a dearth of willing and
able cooks. Autocrats will come to you. The next feast I'm cooking is
in November for a Canton 100 miles up the road; the autocrat set it up
with me last December {11 months notice}. It's nice to be wanted, but,
at the same time, the old guard is getting more into research and
teaching than preparing feasts. Luckily, we do have several newer
people who are starting to take on the challenge. But, I doubt we'll
have enough cooks to require bidding for an event anytime soon.
