SC - Balthazar's book / pigments

A friend of mine has recently joined an ACW group and, like me, is interested 
in cooking.  She tells me that, even through their sutlers, she has been 
unable to locate cookbooks for 1860-1865.  She is getting some recipes from 
issues of Godey's Ladies Book etc.  Can anyone give me info on sources for 
her?  She can access the internet, but only through the public library, so 
hard copy would be better.
