And from an Alaskan point of view, it can get rather exciting, especially if a
quake comes through in the wee hours of the morning. Which seems to be the norm.
Sleep is rather difficult afterwards.

I don't know about you, Nanna, but I always wonder if whatever quake is
happening is going to roll on through or bring the house down. It's amazing how
long you can hold your breath.

obligatory food content: I have yet to be cooking when an earthquake occurs. I'm
hoping I don't get to experience what could very well be a rather lively and
dangerous situation.
