Ilia skrev (a lot about a near-fainting incident)

Ilia-

Run, don't walk, to another Doctor, one who will listen to you.
Fainting situations can be indicative of the first signs of anything,
from pregnancy, to brain tumors. Chances are, you're OK, your low BP
combined with low sugar, and your sudden standing up, to bring on a
fainting spell, but, there is a reasonably significant chance that
something else may be involved.

Even if all it is is mild hypoglycemia, wouldn't you like to know, so
you can be more careful about eating regularly? Any Doctor who ignores
a mild fainting spell such as you describe, is just not doing their
job. If you had been in a centifuge, testing how many Gs you could
tolerate, that would be one thing, but passing out, or nearly so,
while merely arising from your chair is something else.

I'm particularly concerned, because you mentioned none of the other
symptoms associated with hypoglysemia- crankiness, a headache, like
that.

Go get it checked out- you'll feel better, knowing exactly what's
happening, instead of quietly worrying about it.
