SC - Waffles and Books

Bogdan wrote that he just got the _Art of Dining_.  It is superb.
Now that you've seen some of the pictures, this is just a reminder
that there are a number of books on the market that show period
(and just OOP) paintings with food and cookery items in them.  Look
for books on still lifes.  Check out the bookstores of museums.  
You will find lots of things on second, third, and fourth "looks".
Someone else will probably get to posting period waffle/gauffre, etc.
recipes.  I've seen square and round waffles in pictures.
