The candymakers are Fowler's.  My mom was born in
Buffalo in 1916 and they were already a well
established company when my mom was a child.  She said
that they used to have several candy stores throughout
Buffalo, but when I was last there in 1994, they only
had one store.  I know that they were in the phone
book in 1994, but I can't remember exactly where the
store was.  I know that we stopped there on the way
back to Buffalo from Williamsville.  I have an aunt
and several cousins living in South Buffalo and
relatives living in practically all the suburbs.
