It many places, the concept of more period food has to be encouraged food.
To that end, take period food to potlucks along with copies of recipes.
Volunteer for smaller meal opportunities like lunches and teas and have
copies of the recipes available. Contruct a class around a tasty recipe and
teach it at local meetings and collegiums. Then do another. Invite your
canton over to a meal of period food in order to celebrate someone's
birthday, the end of school or whatever, and have copies of the recipes for
them. Make 12th night gifts of period candy or cakes and include a copy of
the recipe. Submit some of your recipes to the baronial newsletter. Go to
the nearest University library and public libraries and create a
bibliography of the locally available resources on the topic of food,
cooking and serving--have it published in your baronial newsletter.
