Ok, I forgot about a cellar or cool storage in my earlier message.
That would be nice. It would be nice to have root vegetables that
didn't start growing while waiting to be eaten.

But a wood-fired stove??? Why??? Or do you assume it comes with
someone else to tend the fire? And why an electric stove when 
natural gas is so much more controllable and is instant on/off?
