I saw a neat device this year in Gardener's Supply(?) catalog; it is a small, maybe 6"x6" mat of plastic spikes. You place a few of these in the areas of the garden kitty likes to hike and she decides to stop visiting. Ouch, ouch. No chemicals involved. Aelfwyn
