Try:
Feeding the Frontier Army: 1775-1865
"Great book on frontier foods and soldier's rations in particular.
Contains many recipes with authentic preparation and ingredients."

The photo in the catalog shows a plastic comb-bound paperback or pamphlet.
No dimensions are given. I've never read this book, but it looks
interesting.

They also carry the "Old Sturbridge Village Cookbook" for $15.00 (catalog
# BK-478), which was a topic of discussion about a yr ago.
