Hi!  Here's the next bit.  
And the library found me a copy of Arte Cisoria (I hope
it's the right one, I haven't seen it yet), so I get to
play with that when I run out of this!

63 Potaje muy fino

     Para cada escudilla de potaje, ocho yemas de huevos y
un poco de leche de cabras. Revueltas muy bien las yemas
con la leche. Y después de bien revuelto cueza hasta que
espese. Y como haya espesado, echad un poco de manteca de
vacas y un poco de azúcar, y acabe de cocer con ello. Y
como sea cocido, hechas las escudillas, pondréis encima
azúcar y canela.

Very fine pottage
     For each bowl of pottage, eight egg yolks and a little
goat milk.  The yolks scrambled/beaten very well with the
milk.  And after [it is] well beaten cook [them] until they
thicken.  And when they have thickened, put [in] a little
cow lard and a little sugar, and finish cooking with them. 
And when it is cooked, the bowls made, put sugar and
cinnamon on top.


77 Recetas para aguas olorosas

     Para hacer agua almizclada tomar una parte de agua de
azahar, y dos partes de agua rosada, y un poco de agua de
trébol, y otro poco de agua de mirto y otro poco de
mosqueta. Y juntas todas estas aguas en una redoma,
pondréis en ella unos pocos de polvillos, y un poco de
ámbar, y almizcle molido y un poco de algalia. Y tapada la
redoma, pondreisla a curar al sol, y que menearla tenéis
cada día.

Recipes for scented waters
     To make musk water take one part citrus blossom water,
and two parts rose water, and a little clover/trefoil
water, and another little myrtle water and another little
Kerria japonica/wild rose (1).  And all these waters
together in a flask, put in it a little dust(?), and a
little amber, and ground musk and a little civet [musk]. 
And the flask capped, put it to cure in the sun, and you
have to shake it every day.

1: The Real Academia's 1734 dictionary describes this as a
"small white rose with a musk scent, a kind of bramble". 
My recent edition of  Maria Moliner gives the scientific
name Kerria japonica for this plant, but it also listed
"mosqueta silvestre" as wild or dog rose.  Kerria japonica
sounds like it might not be native to Europe, so I'm
inclined to think this is wild rose, except the only wild
roses I've ever met are pink.


78 Para hacer agua que huela mucho

     Tomar rosas coloradas una libra, y otra de azahar, y
otra de brotes de laurel, y otra de raíces de azucena, y
dos onzas de clavos de giroflé, y media onza de espliego.
Los clavos y espliego molido, un poco de ámbar y otro poco
de almizcle. Juntas todas estas cosas sacarlas por
alquitara a fuego manso.

To make water that smells a lot
     Take colored/red roses a pound, and another of citrus
blossoms, and another of laurel/bay buds/shoots, and
another of roots of white lily, and two ounces of cloves
(1), and half an ounce of lavender, a little amber and
another little musk.  All these things mixed distill them
over a low fire(2).

1: lit. cloves of [the] clove tree.

2: lit. pull them out by still at [a] gentle fire.


79 Para hacer otra agua que huela mucho

     Tendréis aviso cuando se sacare agua de azahar o de
rosas, poner al pico de la alquitara un poco de almizcle y
de canfora, todo junto ligado en un pañico delgado.

To make another water that smells a lot
     You will be advised when distilling citrus blossom or
rose water, put at/on the mouth of the still a little musk
and camphor, all tied together in a small thin cloth. 


 80 Para hacer agua de trébol que sea muy olorosa

     Tomar cuatro onzas de simiente de trébol, y una de
canela, y media de clavos. Y hacer todas estas cosas
polvos. Y henchiréis la alquitara de rosas polvorizándolas
a lechos con estos polvos. Y sacaréis el agua de las rosas
teniendo al pico de la alquitara un pañico de lino con un
poco de almizcle y canfora. Gastarse han estos polvos en
cantidad de un azumbre de agua.

     Para hacer otra agua almizclada muy olorosa,
henchiréis una alquitara de rosas, y azahar; a lechos uno
de rosas y otro de azahar, polvorizando cada lecho con
polvillos. Poned al pico del alquitara un algodón con un
poco de almizcle y algalia, y sacad esta agua a fuego
manso.

     Para hacer otra agua muy finísima tomar una parte de
rosas deshojadas y dos partes de azahar, y si tuviéredes
flor de mosqueta, un poco, y todo mezclado. Poner en cada
alquitara que sacáredes cuatro o cinco clavos molidos y
polvorizados, y poner al pico de la alquitara un algodón
con un poco de almizcle y sacar el agua a fuego manso.

To make trefoil/clover water that is very fragrant
     Take four ounces of trefoil/clover seed, and one of
cinnamon, and a half of cloves.  And make all these things
dusts.  And stuff the still with roses grinding them by
beds (into a bed?) with these dusts.  And distill the water
from the roses having at the mouth of the still a small
linen cloth with a little musk and camphor.  These dusts
must be used in the quantity of an azumbre of water(1).
     To make another very fragrant musk water, stuff a
still with roses, and  citrus blossoms; in beds one of
roses and another of citrus blossoms, grinding each bed
with dusts.  Put at the mouth of the still a cotton
[cloth?] with a little musk and civet [musk], and distill
this water over a low fire(see note 2, #78).
     To make another very fine water take one part of roses
stripped of petals [i.e. rose petals?] and two parts of
citrus flowers, and if you have Kerria japonica/wild rose
flowers (see note 1, #77), a little, and all mixed.  Put in
each still[-full] that you distill four or five ground and
crushed cloves, and put at the mouth of the still a cotton
[cloth?] with a little musk and distill the water over a
low fire(see note 2, #78).
     

1: A modern azumbre is approximately 2 liters (1992 Real
Academia dictionary). The 1726 Real Academia dictionary
defines azumbre as 1/8 of an arroba or cantara, which is a
measurement used for wine.  The phrase "azumbre de agua"
sounds like they are specifying a measurement used for
water - perhaps similar to how a modern wine bottle and
water bottle would be different quantities?
