Lanie asks about our fantasy kitchens and I actually have a couple.

one of them is a synthesis of the medieval kitchens in the Gruuthouse Museum
in Bruges and the Museo Horne in florence with tons of workspace & big
tables & a fireplace you could fit my bed in & a sink and lots of helpfull
little underchefs & scullery maids & the like :-> In a perfect world, THIS
is where I would do my historical re-enacting - no camping, no mosquitos, no
windstorms, no rain, but a big beautiful medieval kitchen & hall to try & do
this cooking stuff the way they really did it :->

Modernly I want a big tuscan farmhouse kitchen but with a huge professional
gas burning stove & the fridge I have now (bigger than my first apartment &
the freezer is on the bottom - you'll never go back!) two sinks, enough
storage room and I'd still like a couple of those under chefs & scullery
boys please!

Eden - who has to settle for the fridge & a decent sized gas burning stove,
but never enough storage & a scullery boy who frequently thinks he has
better things to do with his time :->
