Well, remember how "Bob" (aka 'Elainie) was Marshal of the Hall for
Summits Investiture, directing the service in an appropriately historic
manner? Seems it's catching on here. The autocrat for my local shire's
upcoming feast in April is going to double as Marshal of the Hall (it's
small, only about 40 or so) and is really interested in appropriate
service, even though she wasn't at Investiture to see it. She kind of
likes the idea that this will be the first feast of the year, and with
the right service. As I described what we did at Investiture, she her
eyes kept widening, the smile broadening, and repeats of 'OH, _cool!_).
