Maybe with a specific brand name, I'll have better luck in finding it 
locally.  I've been trying gourmet grocery stores and upscale wine 
shops.  So far I've only found one person who's heard of the stuff.

If I get hold of some, I'll give you my opinion, but I'd love to hear anyone 
else's verdict, especially if they've tried more than one brand of verjus.
