Sorry, Huette, but while that may be true of much of the Western Catholic
church, it definitely isn't true of the Greek church, and Byzantines were
Greek-oriented  worshippers. As you can see from the scholarly information I
posted after the posting you are quoting, there have been all sorts of
doctrinal arguments about the matter across the ages.
