Not just in Mexico. I buy lard in 15 LB tubs and cooking oil by the pint.
There is no substitute for lard that comes close in flavor and texture.
Ras (who has miserably failed in jumping on the more easily produced, more
profitable and questionably healthier for you vegetable oil band wagon).
