Just another reason to put out recipes or ingredient lists for the feast
going public; my Lady and I tend to prefer feast booklets at the table,
as she gets a 24 hour headache from nutmeg. We always ask when it's not
otherwise posted, but in the rush of serving up the feast, sometime the
cook doesn't remember where the nutmeg is, as happened to us a while
back. I personally would vote for it being a mandate. One gentle who
DIDN'T happen to know about the (to them) deadly-alergic-causing-food
would be one too many, I'd think.
