SC - Feeding Fighters

Here's a question for all you fighter-types, from someone who doesn't...
I'm purely wondering if the variety of environments in which people fight affect
what they crave/want to eat when they're fighting? As someone who normally wears
lots and lots of garb (one Elizabethan outfit can cruise 30 lbs on me), I know
how weather, humidity, etc. can affect how comfortable I am, and how much I want
to eat and drink. My part of Artemisia is given only to "moderate extremes," if
you know what I mean...we don't have much in the way of humidity, some snow,
some hot days, some amount of altitude (3000 ft. or so--just under those "high
altitude directions on cake mixes).
