Well, (hanging my head) I made my own birth announcements for my
first two children.  I typed them up on a real typewriter except for
the vital statistics and name.  We "published" a "first edition" for
the theme, and the second baby's announcements worked off that original
notice.  But, of course, this was back in 1969 and 1970 when there were
more hours in a day and we just squatted in the family room, gave birth,
and went back to cooking our multi-course meals single-handedly... ;-)
