SC - OT-OOP but I gotta RANT!!!

Not having a TV, I miss most of this au courant cultural stuff.  However, 
while reading in line at the grocery store, I came across the scandalous 
information that MS attended a formal state dinner at the white house in a 
pantsuit.  In the picture, she looked perfectly dressed for PTA, but not at 
all appropriate for a state dinner honoring some ambassador or other. That 
situation requires that ladies be in gowns with hems at the floor.  These 
days the neckline can just about be at the floor as well, but an otherwise 
tasteful pantsuit is just as tacky.

(Having designed the suit, raised the sheep, woven the cloth and hand made 
the buttons does not make up for it being inappropriate.)
