Ima Hogg is, or was, a fairly famous Texas socialite and philanthropist,
as I recall. I believe she was a buddy of Ladybird Johnson (speaking of
odd names...even though Ladybird was not, I think, her given name). I
expect Eura Pigg might have been a sort of "Wouldn't it be funny if...?" gesture.
