Paradise is a term that usually refers to Grains of Paradise, which are
small (seeds? berries?) that are ground and used in many soups, stews,
and beverages. Sam Adams came out with a beer last year that featured
Grains of Paradise in it. Cubebs are a dried berry, looking a lot like a
peppercorn, that has a peppery and slightly lemony taste. Really yummy
in meat dishes.
