Big difference. The vattlingon is tart and sour, the preserves are
rather sweetish, depending on the brand or cook that made them (I prefer
the homemake stuff, big surprise). Also difference in consisntency and
usage. The preserve is a "runny jam", while the vattlingon is
lingnberries in liquid.

That would most likely only give you the preserves.
