Oh, come now. It wasn't _that_ wet. It rained harder Spring two years
ago.

Well, we only got four belts, and one is already prince. Another just
finished moving and changing jobs, another's already been Prince and his
lady pointed out you don't get nothing more for the second time, and the
fourth cannily sent his son-in-law out to win it. :) (And the ladies of
#3 and #4 are principality Seneschal and Exchequer...not like we'd want
to try and replace them for nine months). We got three more that just
don't play anymore.

It stops raining in An Tir?????

Food content. I made a meat pie for a quick and easy meal during the
tournament (I was incoming principality herald, and outgoing Lists
officer). I _was_ going to make beef and mushroom pie (my idea of
comfort food), but strangely the local market was out of mushrooms at
that time of night.... So I just used the meat seasoned with a little
powder forte. The 'coffin' I made from mostly rye flour with a little
unbleach mixed in later to absorb excess moisture and to knead it in.
Formed in in a little 8" pie tin, then removed it to bake on a flat
sheetpan, so it ended up more flat and cylindrical than the standard
taper. I fluted the crust seam _up_, not horizontal. I didn't poke in
any vent holes, and the steam inflated the crust into a beautiful, if
empty, arch/ The crust seem perfect for ease of eating from the hand.
Not crumbly, but neither leathery nor brittle either.
