Other than the color, if you want to get down to it, there is very little 
difference.  Use the two interchangably.  White, in my opinion, does tend to 
make a very slightly sweeter product.  Be careful, however, that you don't 
buy bleached yellow sold as white.  There is no real cooking difference, but 
it is a matter of principal.
