Or you fly in and share the dishes that are passed? :-) There is always MORE 
than enough food for people who cannot contribute at the Pennsic SCA-Cooks 
list gathering. Also there are those who go to market  if not daily then 
regularly so  getting a hunk of cheese or a bit of fruit would not  preclude 
you from participating if your guilt factor was high. :-)
