Yes, she does.  She's a gem, and puts my own pasty skills to shame. Last
Pennsic she and her Lord Husband Ragnar make a truly incredible
cake/scroll
soteltie, that was to die for. The scroll was worded by Their Majesties,
and
calligraphed onto sugar paste with the aid of edible ink (thinned black
coloring, IIRC) and a calligraphy pen. Very carefully. The cake base was
a
fruited cake, based on a 12th night cake recipe (dried cherries. Yum).
Next,
the entire cake was covered in sugar paste, and the scroll was placed on
top. But that's not all.

Rowan made a piped gingerbread (thinned to piping consistency) celtic
knotwork border. When baked, it was then gilded. This was placed atop the
cake, cemented with more semi-solid sugar paste. It was incredible, and
highly enjoyed by the combined royalty of the known world at their
brunch.

Together, the duo are sublime confectioners. I have seen them produce:
giant
egg in an edible nest, which, when cut, was complete with yolk.
Gingerbread
lantern (with cut-outs), which was carried into a darkened hall. A set of
gold keys on a keychain, molded from gingerbread. An enormous chocolate
cabbage (the royalty specifically requested NO Cabbage. What else could
they
do?), sugar paste birds and flowers, marzipan confections, and many more.

This old dog is still learning new tricks.
