Saint Dymphna is the latinized name for Saint Damhnait.
Them latin speakers just couldnt seem to wrap their tongues around good
celtic names...
She and her jester absconded to Belgium from Ierland when her father
wanted her to marry a pagan prince and she wanted to be a nun. She is
the patron saint of people with nervous disorders.
