Remember to slice the loaf and fry the slices. Barley is plebian, wheat is
tres chic, and maize is modern.
Apicius like honey on his, but a few chopped mushrooms, a little garlic and
grated parmesan would be interesting.
Or --- go find the recipe for pizza bianca.
