Her information dovetails with that of T. Scully, writing about the
Neapolitan Collection of recipes, which are derived from the Catalan.  He
believes Martino followed this collection, also known as Bu:hler 19, but
made the dishes into more 'finished' forms--or at least the written
recipes are.  De Nola also derives from this same source, but Bridgit
will have to tell us about de Nola.  

Platina copied Martino's recipes on a trip he took with the Italian
gentleman to whom he had been a tutor, prior to becoming the Vatican
Librarian.  Epulario is derived almost directly from Martino and Platina,
but the folks in the Middle Ages did not have the concept of plagerism
that we have, today.

Martino is not yet available in English, although there was, IIRC, a
Scadian gentleman working on it.
