Yep and nope, The Oriental Gooseberry,became
colloquially renamed the Kiwifruit within Nz as early
as 1970 ,but this happenned way before the Nz
Kiwifruit boom, now the are being remarketed under a
new seudo name as the Asian Kiwi fruit boom has Cut
into Nz  export market
 they are now smooth skinned and Orange,we're still
working on the pips
