My Lords and Ladies,

I am posting this here because of the high number of responses I have
received to my little story.  Really, guys, it was something to think
about while scrubbing miscroscopic pieces of fish off a concrete floor.
:P Still, I am honored that you found it an enjoyable diversion.

Anyhow, a number of people have written to ask if they may reprint my
story in this newsletter or that.  My answer is: "Yes, please add my SCA
name and email on the byline, and send a copy to:

As for my future career as a Bard?  Heh.  Occasionally, just once in a
great while, I manage to write something people like to read.  But, ask
those who know me well, and they will tell you:

Don't, DON'T ask Colin to sing!

It's a shame, too. I like to sing.  I especially like it when lots of
other voices drown me out so I don't have to hear myself.  You get the
idea.
