Back from Crown Lyste! Great weekend, great fighting, great weather,
really annoying meetings, had a wonderful time!
Sometimes packages get lost in the cyber maze, and don't re-emerge for
day, weeks, or even months. I've seen long-dead threads get kicked up
bigtime because a delayed post got everything going again. Sometimes ISPs
will have hiccups during long sessions, and it'll have your system send
again, if it doesn't think the upload came through properly.
If you're experiencing multiple uploads, check your timeout settings,
and keep an eye on your outbox and draft folders. Send messages
individually, if possible, rather than accumulating them and sending en
masse. I realize that some people can't do that, and for them I'd just
suggest that you make sure you log a confirmation of transmission if you're
having these troubles. That will help you identify the source of the
problem, whether it's your browser or your ISP.
Failing that, get some Holy Water, and sprinkle the computer lightly. If
it sizzles and pops badly, just back away slowly, and leave it alone!
Cyber-demons, y'know . . .
    Hope that helps.

    Sieggy
