Greeting masterful and jubilant cooks of the SCA Cooks' List!!

I am posting this as announcement of my desire to gather together at Border Raids on Friday night all those who will be attending the event.  I have contacted the event staff about a meeting place and facilities for our use.  They have made available the Long hall that useually is used for A&S competition.  It has tables and chairs, a large kitchen area with reach-in and wlak-in coolers, water, trash facilities, outdoor picnic area.

I would like to suggest we all gather together Friday evening about 7:30pm until 9:30pm to meet each other and share commradrie.  My idea is to bring portable snack foods to assemble/cook there or already prepared.  Also, bring potable/beverages so that we can have a pleasant evening of conversation, hors d'orvres type finger foods, and sharing of info and ideas.  If you are interested and can attend, please contact me so that I can make a more concrete mention to the staff contact of the event.  I also would like to considering opening it to other cooks seriously  interested in our rag-tag little band of 'food hackers and scorchers'.  Any thoughts, ideas and/or suggestions would be most welcome as well.  I can be reached privately at  franiccolo at mindspring.com, or publicly via the list.
